The EPA has found indoor air to be one of the 5 most urgent health care issues.  The
air in your home is most likely many times more polluted than the air outside.  A few
products listed below will improve your air quality.
Do you have allergies or asthma?  Respiratory problems?  Mold or mildew in your ductwork?
One of the newest items on the market is an
ultraviolet air purification system.  Due to today's
tight construction, many homes have serious air quality problems.  Homes are built to be
energy efficient which means air can not easily get in.  As a result, viruses and other airborne
allergens can not get out.  The UV system is designed to kill these airborne problems.  In the
summer, when your air conditioner coil is always moist, mold or mildew can form in the fins and
insulation surrounding it.  The UV system is designed to kill this dangerous buildup and prevent
it from growing.  Mold is dangerous and mildew can aggravate your allergies if it is growing in
your air duct system.  More about mold at the bottom of this page.  Many problems are taken
care of by this product!
Electrostatic air filters are positively charged to catch fine dust particles in your air.  These filters
can usually be installed in place of your existing 1" wide air filter.  A transformer supplies power
to the filter and uses very little electricity to catch contaminates.
A central humidifier for your entire home will help prevent dry sinuses in the winter.  Moist air will
also prevent static electricity that is common during colder months.  Air that has the proper
humidity in the winter will feel warmer and reduce your energy bill.  We can install a humidifier to
match your square footage and solve these problems!
Facts About Indoor Air

According to the Environmental Protection Agency, the air in homes is up to 100 times more
polluted than outdoor air.

The National Academy of Sciences Institute of Medicine reports that exposure to indoor
pollutants is a key contributor to the asthma problems of this nation.

The air in a single room can contain hundreds of thousands of infectious bacteria, viruses,
fungal spores, and contaminants, which can only be seen with a microscope.

Airborne contaminants can cause diseases such as influenza, hepatitis, tuberculosis, and
pneumonia. Ultraviolet treatment helps reduce the occurrence of diseases such as measles
and tuberculosis.

Health effects may show up immediately or after years of exposure to poor indoor air
quality. These symptoms include some respiratory diseases, heart disease, and
cancer. They may be severely debilitating or fatal.

Toxic black mold and fungi problems can cause severe health problems and mold illness
such as birth defects, miscarriages, headaches, memory loss, destruction of brain tissue,
cancer, allergic reactions, loss of hair, skin disease, open skin sores, skin rashes, skin
lacerations, fungal infections, chronic sinusitis, sinus problems, allergies to mold, lung
diseases [like Aspergilliosis], and other respiratory illnesses, mold induced infections, and
even death. Many asthmatics are sensitive to airborne molds rather than to pollens or animal
dander, according to an epidemiological survey published in the Aug. 24, 2002, issue of the
British Medical Journal.  Our UV system will kill dangerous mold and fungi.

Many air purifiers sold today are
ozone generators.  Ozone is no doubt a wonderful air purifier in
the atmosphere.  However, what manufacturers don't mention is that ozone is dangerous to
your health.
Here is our input on these potentially dangerous products.
